Welsh Council for Voluntary Action
Wales Council for Voluntary Action (WCVA) represents, supports and campaigns for voluntary organisations, volunteers and communities in Wales.
The backbone of British sport is in the Voluntary Sector, and without the thousands of dedicated volunteers who give up their time so freely on a weekly basis, in Wales, whether as administrators, officials, event organisers, coaches or helpers, quite simply there would be no sporting programme anything like that in its current form.
The National Governing Bodies of Sport in Wales, who are the Association's constituent members, represents some 6,000 voluntary clubs and the Association's strengthening links with the WCVA are proving invaluable in ensuring that these bodies have access to the very best advice, support, representation and grant aid sources, as well as ensuring that sport is continually pushed up the political agenda.
