Other Training Opportunities

Independent sports consultancy, GBSport, are running two business training courses for sports coaches, administrators and managers in the new year.

The courses will be based at the Sport Wales National Centre in Cardiff and cost £45 per delegate per course, and are approved for licence credits with relevant National Governing Bodies.

The WSA is willing to contribute 50% of the cost of course fees for one delegate per sport wishing to attend each course, but as available funding is limited, this will be on a first come first served basis.

For further information please see the
HMRC Article in this newsletter.

To book a place on either course, please contact GBSport on 01952 620099.

Overseas Expeditions Grants

Ground breaking overseas expeditions play an important part in the development of outdoor pursuits in Wales, and each year the WSA invites applications for grant aid for Welsh Members of eligible overseas expeditions.

The funding available is limited, and all applications will be considered on merit and must be supported by the appropriate National Governing Body.

Applications for expeditions departing in 2012/2013 must be completed and returned to the WSA office by 14th January 2012.

To download an application form and guidance notes, please visit the
Overseas Expedition Grants page of our web site.
