Extra date for Team Manager Training (workshop one)

An extra date has been added to the current Team Manager Training programme. Workshop 1, Foundations of Effective Team Management, will now been re-run on Saturday 17th March 2012 at the Sport Wales National Centre in Cardiff. The cost is £50 for members of a Governing Body and £80 for non members.

This extra date provides an ideal opportunity for anyone who was unable to attend workshop one last year and would like to make progress with Team Manager Training, as Workshop two is being held at the Wales National Pool, Swansea, the following day...

Olympic flame due to arrive in UK on 18 May

The Guardian has reported that the Olympic flame, lit by the morning rays of the sun on Olympia in Greece, will arrive in the UK at RNAS Culdrose in Cornwall on the 18th May. In an hour long ceremony the torch will be lit in the ancient ruins of the Temple of Hera in Olympia on the 10 May, and will then be relayed around Greece, arriving at the Panathenaic Stadium in Athens on the 17th May for the official handover... more
