Surf Kayaking

In the next issue of WSA:News we hope to be able to include an account of the 2009 Tonga Surf Kayak Expedition, which was supported by the Overseas Expedition Grant scheme administered by the WSA on behalf of the Sports Council for Wales.

With only just over a foot of water covering the reef at high tide, conditions in Tonga were certainly challenging. To wet your appetite here's a photo of one of the team in action.
