Independent sports consultancy, GBSport, are running two business training courses for sports coaches, administrators and managers in the new year.

The courses will be based at the Sport Wales National Centre in Cardiff and cost £45 per delegate per course, and are approved for licence credits with relevant National Governing Bodies.

The WSA is willing to contribute 50% of the cost of course fees for one delegate per sport wishing to attend each course, but as available funding is limited, this will be on a first come first served basis.

HMRC Article on our web site.

To book a place on either course, please contact GBSport on 01952 620099.

Overseas Expeditions Grants

Ground breaking overseas expeditions play an important part in the development of outdoor pursuits in Wales, and each year the WSA invites applications for grant aid for Welsh Members of eligible overseas expeditions.

The funding available is limited, and all applications will be considered on merit and must be supported by the appropriate National Governing Body.

If you wish to apply for a grant for an expedition departing in 2012/2013 and have not yet submitted your completed application form, please be aware that time is rapidly running out.

If you don‘t think you are going to be able to return your completed application form by the 31st January, please contact
paul-dancey@welshsports.co.uk as soon as possible.

The current application form and guidance notes are available on the
Overseas Expedition Grants page of our web site.
