WPA Ladies Qualifier 2012

The Welsh Petanque Association's Ladies Qualifier took place recently at Pentwyn Leisure Centre, Cardiff with four Ladies Triples Teams representing the following clubs: Caerleon RFC PC, Penarth PC, Wenvoe PC, The Wheatsheaf PC and The Monkstone Inn PC, competing to represent Wales at the Ladies European Championships to be held between 1st and 4th November 2012 in city of Ghent... more

Badminton Wales ‘leads’ the way with new Leadership Award

Restrictions relaxed at Llangorse Lake

Consultation on child performance legislation

This is a joint consultation by the Welsh Government and the UK Department of Education on proposals to reform the procedures safeguarding children who take part in performances. The proposals affect people under school leaving age (ie aged 16 or over on the last Friday in June) performing or playing in front of a paying audience... more

UK Sport confirms 'Top Four' ambition for home games

WPA Pétanque Singles Championships 2012

The National Singles Championship was held this year at Penarth Pétanque Club, located at The Kymin. 16 players competed. Adventure licensing will remain in place in Scotland

European success ahead of London 2012
