Our Manifesto

In 2011, ahead of the National Assembly elections, the WSA published a document entitled "A Welsh Sporting Legacy - a manifesto for sport in Wales". This sets out our views as to how the Welsh Assembly Government could encourage an environment in which sport and outdoor pursuits in Wales could thrive. It recognizes that difficult choices will have to be made about the future allocation of resources, but re-affirms the WSA's strong belief that the value that sport brings to communities across Wales should not be underplayed. Against that background, our manifesto for sport sets out the views of the sector as to the priority areas for the next decade.
