WSA training proves great success

The WSA's Autumn/Winter training series proved a great success. Around 40 members of staff from different governing bodies undertook courses on IT, presentation skills, effective administration and coaching staff.

There is currently space on a time management course in January 2007.

Venue: Newport & Gwent Enterprise, Unit 30, Enterprise Way, Newport NP20 2AQ
Content:
• Understanding how to set personal and professional objectives
• To know a variety of strategies to minimise interuptions and control the use of the time available, through effective prioritisation (includes practical advice on using Outlook to manage time)
• To understand that you control your time and what you do with it


The WSA has a further budget to pay for NGB training in 2007 and invites NGBs to contact Kieran Harris on 029 2064 9864 to advise on the types of training required.
