New Vacancy: Tennis Manager (Wrexham Tennis Centre)

Wrexham Tennis Centre is looking for a special person to become its new Tennis Manager and be responsible for developing our successful and ambitious tennis programme.

The Centre, which is run by a charitable trust, is one of the largest in GB and the biggest in Wales. Indoors we have 7 full size courts and 2 mini-red courts and outdoors there are 7 courts.


Wrexham is designated as a High Performance Centre and is the training venue for many talented Welsh and English players. We also run a massive recreational programme with a range of activities from adult and junior coaching, social tennis, cardio tennis and touch tennis as well as hosting local, national and international tournaments across all age groups.

The successful candidate will have a good knowledge of tennis and experience of running coaching programmes and competitions. They should have the ability to plan and organize a range of activity with minimum supervision, to manage budgets and meet targets. They will need to be excellent communicators in written and verbal form and have good IT skills.

The post is for 40 hours per week and the nature of the work requires that some of this will be in evenings and at weekends.
