The Wales Charity Law Conference is two weeks away – but you've still time to anchor your place.
Many groups are finding themselves sailing through choppy waters as times get increasingly tough and the cuts bite. In that case, good governance is a vital tool to navigate your way towards calmer seas.
That's why you should dock at the Wales Charity Law Conference 2012, taking place at Swansea's Liberty Stadium on Wednesday, 16 May and supported by Geldards law firm. Titled Keeping things ship-shape: putting good governance into practice, it's the perfect opportunity to sweep the deck and install strong governance throughout your organization.
Speakers include Dave Walker of the Charity Commission on serious issues the body has dealt with and what you can learn from them, and professionals from Geldards on legal changes in the last 12 months, and the difference between volunteers and employees.
