Millennium Stadium Charitable Trust Invites Applications from National Organizations

The Millennium Stadium Charitable Trust operates three application rounds a year, one for each type of organisation - Local, Regional and National. Applications are now being invited from National organizations that have a remit to cover the whole of Wales and are operating in the majority of counties in Wales.

Eligible organizations include not-for-profit organizations; properly constituted voluntary organizations; charitable organizations; and voluntary groups working with local authorities.

Grants of up to £12,500 are available for projects in the following categories:

  • Sport:
    • Providing high quality sporting opportunities to ethnic minorities and people with disabilities
    • Providing equipment and coaching
  • The Arts:
    • Providing opportunities for people to enjoy the diversity of performing and visual arts in Wales
    • Expanding and improving arts provision in parts of the country less well served than others
  • The Community:
    • Tackling social, personal, economic or cultural barriers within communities
    • Encouraging greater independence and giving people more control over their lives
  • The Environment:
    • Promoting schemes that involve recycling, developing green spaces, the development and promotion of green practices and the promotion of public transport schemes
    • Protecting and enhancing Wales' natural heritage and promoting its sustainable use and enjoyment in a way which contributes to local economic prosperity and social inclusion
