New Post: Event Director (British Canoe Union)

The British Canoe Union wishes to receive tenders from companies or applications from individuals for the role of Event Director for the Canoe Slalom World Cup. This is an exciting opportunity for the highly motivated and appropriately skilled to deliver a major sporting event at a world class facility.

The main responsibility and focus of the contract / position is to organise, facilitate and deliver a successful event and programme for the Cardiff World Cup Slalom 2012. Work to commence in October 2011 and conclude with the successful delivery of the event.

The International Canoe Federation has awarded the British Canoe Union the right to host a Canoe Slalom World Cup in 2012 at Cardiff International White Water between 8th - 10th June 2012. The World Cup Series is held annually and attracts a high calibre of athlete.

The successful applicant / tender will report to the Steering Group which will review its operation and progress.
