New Vacancy: 5x60 Co-ordinator (Rhondda Cynon Taff)

Rhondda Cynon Taf 5 x 60 Programme is seeking to appoint a 5 x 60 Officer with appropriate aptitude and skills to join the wider 5 x 60 team within RCT Services for Young People.

The post holder's main responsibility will be the co-ordination and implementation of the 5 x 60 programme within one of RCT's school cluster areas.

The post holder will be expected to maintain and develop relationships within the sporting community which will result in increased participation in sport and physical activity, and also raise awareness and promote the benefits of physical activity.

He or she will hold at least one recognized sports coaching qualification and have experience of coaching/sports development/youth work/teaching, and will have good knowledge of the sports development process. Knowledge of funding opportunities and initiatives available within the sporting community would be desirable.

This post is based at Ty Trevithick, Abercynon in the first instance and then will predominantly be school based.
