New Vacancy: General Manager (Welsh Sports Association)

The Welsh Sports Association has an exciting opportunity for a General Manager to join its team on a 1 year fixed-term basis.
In this high profile role, you will be responsible to the Management Board of the WSA for the delivery and implementation of the Association’s strategic plan. You will help build the financial stability of the WSA and work closely with Sport Wales in matters of mutual interest.
You will need experience of dealing with corporate governance within a similar organisation, and have proven success in the formulation, implementation and evaluation of strategic plans and policy. You will have experience of staff and financial management and have strong communication skills. Innovative thinking and creativity will also be an important component within this role.
This post will primarily be home-based, with 1 day per week working at the Sport Wales National Centre in Cardiff.
