Marine Conservation Zones (MCZs) - Potential Site Options for Welsh Waters

The Welsh Government has announced a consultation on the ten potential site options in Welsh waters identified by the Marine Conservation Zone (MCZ) Project Wales.
This is the first of 3 consultation phases inviting the views of members of the public and interested organizations.
A series of the public/sector specific events will also be held during the consultation period. These will provide a further opportunity for interested organizations and the public to comment on the current proposals.
A web mapping application showing the location of the proposed zones is available on the Welsh Government website, as are a number of consultation documents.
The consultation ends on the 31st July 2012.
