New Vacancy: North Wales Regional Chair (Hockey Wales)

Hockey Wales are seeking to recruit a North Wales Regional Chair.

The role of the new Regional Chair will be to help create, lead and manage the North Wales Hockey Board, acting as a champion for the region, the sport and the National Governing Body (NGB).

The Chair will also provide clear guidance in the development and implementation of the regional plan, ensuring it delivers a balance of the key stakeholders requirements for the overall advancement of Hockey in the region.

The role is all about creating transformational change, high ambition, new approaches, different ways of working. It’s about joining up multiple partners and leading local strategy and challenging national strategy.

Partnerships will be crucial to the success in North Wales, this will be with staff, the new Board, local partners and most importantly Hockey clubs. The tradition in North Wales is that of a strong club and volunteer base, these are assets to build on.

This is a great opportunity to be part of something special and shape the future delivery of Hockey across North Wales. The role is a voluntary role but reasonable expenses will be paid.
