New Vacancy: Academy Coach (Golf Union of Wales)

The Golf Union of Wales is seeking applications for the position of Academy Coach for South East Wales. The Academy squad will comprise players chosen at Assessment Days and will generally be under 16 years of age.
The positions will be based on a 20-day per annum contract.
Applicants will be required to:
- Maintain and develop the sound basics and develop individual skills of each player
- Carry out individual player evaluations
- Prepare individual coaching programmes in conjunction with the Director of Performance, the National Coaches and Regional Coaches
- Work with and lead a player support team including Psychologist and Strength & Conditioner for academy players
- PGA qualified
- Experience of developing elite golfers
- Excellent communication skills
- Sound management skills
- Enthusiastic, personable and competitive
