New Vacancy: Schools and Early Years Manager (Welsh Gymnastics)

Welsh Gymnastics is looking for an experienced and motivated person to join the Welsh Gymnastics Development Team and contribute to the work of developing and growing gymnastics in Wales.

The Schools and Early Years Manager will take a leading role in the development of gymnastic opportunities for children in Wales.

The role holder will:

• Develop working partnerships with stakeholders and key local partners to increase gymnastics participation in Wales
• Inform and develop gymnastics for children to ensure growth in line with corporate aims and objectives
• Contribute to the work of establishing a measure for physical literacy
• Lead on the A-Z gymnastics programme and its roll-out into education
• Co-ordinate and support courses for coaches, teachers and nursery teachers
• Establish good practice guidelines and assessment criteria for pre-school and education settings
• Work as a key member of the development team
• Adopt comprehensive monitoring systems for all activities to ensure that Welsh Gymnastics’ strategic aims and objectives are achieved and outcomes measured
• Ensure Welsh Gymnastics provide, encourage and lead with excellent customer service
