New Vacancy: 5x60 Officer (Vale of Glamorgan)

The Vale of Glamorgan Council is seeking to appoint a temporary 5x60 officer. Main sports development base is Dock Offices, although 5x60 Officer will usually be based in a school.

This is a temporary post until 31st March 2013 (with the possibility of extension subject to funding).

Responsible to the Sports & Play Development Manager, the successful candidate will co-ordinate a programme of activities to encourage young people to take part in new opportunities to encourage lifelong participation. They will also have to recruit and train new volunteer sports organisers and work with existing coaches.
