WSA autumn seminar series

Kimmo Muttonen on 10/11/2005

The WSA is pleased to announce two more seminars for November, following on from the succesful spring series.

With the heightened profile of outdoor activities in the past year, the Outdoor Pursuits Group of the Welsh Sports Association has arranged a seminar updating the industry on the vital pieces of the statutory jigsaw in Wales. The seminar will take place on Thursday 24th November in the Taff Suite at Welsh Institute of Sport in Cardiff from 1830hrs.

The second seminar in the series is delivered as part of the WSA Commercial Unit’s role of working with National Governing Bodies of Sport in Wales on generating income from public and private sources.

The seminar on the 29th November 2005 will focus on charitable status and fundraising for NGBs in Wales as changing regulations and a more flexible approach by the Charity Commission mean that more NGBs can now consider applying for charitable status.

The seminar will take place on Tuesday 29th November at 1330hrs in The Taff Suite at the Welsh Institute of Sport in Cardiff.

For further information on both seminars please call the Welsh Sports Association on 02920 649863.
