Welsh Amateur Swimming Association

swimmingPicOver ten per cent of the Welsh population swims regularly every year, making it one of the highest participation activities in the country. The majority of swimmers are female aged 15 to 35 but it also attracts an older audience due to the health benefits.

The Welsh Amateur Swimming Association is the national governing body and works with around 75 clubs, with a total of nearly 10,000 members, to develop participation and performance.
